IDGSR welcomes Rush into the safety of the rescue!!!
Rush is a young German Shepherd who was rescued along with his father. Both dogs were from a backyard breeder who didn't want them anymore. Rush is special needs due to having a broken leg sometime in the past and he has some hip issues. His leg has healed and he is getting supplements for his hips which are helping him. Rush is very sweet and gets along fine with female dogs. He crates fine but is good outside the crate as well. He would be limited running or walking long distances but would do great with access to a nice backyard. He would also love spending time curled up next to you in the house! Rush is really a nice dog and is ready to start a new chapter in his life.

Each dog's adoption fee varies depending on the age of the dog.
$300 for any dog 1 year and younger (PUPPY)
$250 for any dog 1-3 years (YOUNG & ADULT)
$200 for any dog 7 years (ADULT SENIOR)
All our adoptable dogs are up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, monthly preventative, and have been spayed or neutered.
Everyone must submit an application before an appointment is made to meet the dogs. Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
All dogs are fostered in TN unless stated otherwise.
