Plenty of my friends are looking

TJ (Guest)'s Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

TJ (Guest)'s Story...
We are helping TJ find a new home.

TJ is sweet, loving and energetic, according to his owner. He is a black and tan male GSD, about 6 years old. His owner adopted him out when he was a puppy, she rescued his mother and her litter. TJ had trouble walking on his back legs but the problem was corrected with treatment. However, his former owners returned him to his original owner and did not keep up with treatment, so he has trouble walking on his back legs. His owner feels he will gain mobility once he begins treatment again but she does not have the resources to treat him. She can keep TJ temporarily.

TJ is friendly to people and gets along with kids. He is good with other dogs, and cats

TJ is up to date on vet care and was neutered; his owner can provide vet records.

TJ can run around the yard and play; he would do best in a moderately active home where he can get exercise and be around people. He is crate trained, and can walk on a leash. He has been known to wander, so a high fenced yard would be best for him.

If you'd like to meet TJ, please contact his owner directly at angeliac@uga.edu.

GSDRGA has not met TJ, he is not our foster dog. We are guest listing him. Please contact her owner to ask questions, or set up a meeting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TJ (Guest), a Roswell German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Roswell, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Roswell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Roswell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Roswell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Roswell paves the way for another one to be saved.
