Augusta's Story...
Augusta (02-124) is an 8 year old tri-colored female who was rescued from a local shelter. She has pretty black spots and a super soft coat. She is a really sweet girl who constantly craves the attention of her foster parents. Augusta will follow her foster mom and dad around the house and she can't stand it when they are out of her sight. She always sleeps on her bed beside her foster parents and she will sit near them wherever they go. Augusta gets along well with the other hounds in her foster home since she's easy going and a little bit passive. Unfortunately, Augusta was not taken care of in the past and she tested positive for heartworms. She has now completed treatment for the heartworms, but is continuing to battle a chronic ear infection.
