Gypsy is a sweet but timid little rat terrier mix who is estimated to be about 7 years old. She was finally captured as a stray after being on the run for almost a month. Sadly, she was wearing a collar all along so she had a home, but no one claimed her. Once she was surrendered to our humane society it was discovered she was quite a nice little girl, just scared. She adapted beautifully in her new foster home almost immediately. Gypsy will definitely need a family who will keep her on a leash when outdoors or who has a fenced yard or nearby dog park to keep her safe. She is housebroken and will only be adopted as an indoor companion dog. Gypsy tested positive for Lyme disease and is currently being treated for it. Gypsy has been spayed, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm and is up to date on all her shots. For more information on Gypsy or to adopt her, please contact foster parents Shaun and Kalica at 320-310-2654. Gypsy's adoption fee is $180 plus tax ($192.38).
