Meet this handsome fella named Johnny! (This charming kitty is now at the Cat Condos at Petsmart in New Bern. Stop by and visit with Johnny there today.) He came into the shelter June 1, 2016 as a stray and is now awaiting his chance at a fabulous life. Johnny is around 4 years old, neutered, & up to date on vaccinations. He loves getting attention from his people friends and seems like he will make a person or family a great kitty if given a fair chance. Stop by the shelter and visit with this charming fella today and give him the life he deserves.
We have SO MANY cats & kittens arriving daily that it is hard to keep Adopt a Pet as up-to-date as we would like. So PLEASE COME TO THE SHELTER and meet some of the wonderful cats that are up for adoption and open up your home to 1 or more kitties today! Can't adopt today? We'd love some toys, litter, or food (especially kitten food) would be good too. Maybe you will have some time for snuggle and love on us while you're here. It makes the cats time here more enjoyable to get love & attention. We need volunteers & foster homes! If you adopt a cat that is not already spayed or neutered you will receive a voucher to cover the cost of the surgery...such a great deal while saving a life!! All of the cats are tested for FIV as well as Lukemia before being adopted out as well. The shelter hours are M-F 10-1, 2-5 and Sat. 10-4.
