Chewy can't decide what he loves the most - being scratched on the base of his tail or those wonderful tennis balls.
This sweet boy, with his wiggly, bouncy walk, also loves getting attention and affection from his human friends.
He has a playful, youthful spirit that makes him fun to take for walks, and he walks well on his leash. He's learning to answer to the "sit" command, and to drop those tennis balls when he brings them back. He's always up for playing fetch.
Chewy has some mild vision issues, but they're barely noticeable. He will fit well into a home, possibly with older kids who can continue his training. A couch to nap on would be a bonus he'd also love. Come visit and toss him a tennis ball!
And remember, all APA adoptions come with free behavior assistance through APA's behavior team. And when you adopt a dog from APA, you are saving not one, but two lives - the life of the dog you're bringing into your home, and the next dog APA can save in the adopted dog's place.
I was taken off of the euthanasia list, so if you adopt me, you are saving not only me but also the dog tomorrow who could use my spot! If you have questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
