Pooch's Story...
Pooch is a 4-year old Rat Terrier who is available for adoption in Baltimore, MD.
She weighs around 18 lbs.

Pooch is a total snuggle bug, she is very friendly with other dogs and people. She is spayed, house-trained, crate-trained. Pooch likes to sit on your lap getting petted and lay next to you while you watch TV or read the papers.
Even though she hasn't been on many walks yet, she seems to enjoy them. She is a big fan of car rides. Pooch should go into a home with kids 8+, and with no cats.
Pooch such an easy pup to take care of and so easy to please.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pooch, a Baltimore Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Baltimore, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Baltimore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baltimore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baltimore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baltimore paves the way for another one to be saved.
