My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fostered in Post Falls, Idaho

Hello there! My name is Rogue and I'm here to sucker you in to adopting me. I'm a 4 month old heeler mix who was found by a nice man. He spent a week making sure my brother and I were fed and taken care of while he was working where we were abandoned. It came time for him to leave, he couldn't leave us behind and asked if Power of the Paw would take me. Of course, they said yes!

I'm young, so remember that I need guidance. I am not going to automatically know what you want from me. I am already crate trained. I sleep in the crate at night with no issues. I'm not totally housetrained, but I'm working on it. I was used to pottying outside so living indoors is going to take some time to get used to. I get so excited to spend time with you that I try to get out the door to go with you. So make sure you watch the door when it opens. I really want to go for a walk with you and I walk well on a leash. I could, of course, use a bit more work. But as a puppy, I always like to learn!

Do you already have a dog? Perfect! I love other dogs and it would help me run off my energy. Same with kids. I'm doing well with my foster's kids and they help keep my energy under control. My foster mom says that I'm low energy which is awesome for a heeler puppy.

Make sure I have chew toys to chew on. I'm teething and so I chew to keep the pain away as my teeth come in. My foster mom is working on showing me what I can and cannot chew on. I'm smart, so let's work together to learn new things. I am highly trainable, so Power of the Paw suggests putting me through puppy classes at Valor K9 Academy - Spokane so that I can be the best puppy in the world!

I'm ready to finally have stability, so if you can offer that to me, go to http://powerofthepaw.org/adopt/dog-adoption-application/ and fill out an application. If you choose me, I promise I will love you unconditionally!

Adoption Fee: $200 includes spay, DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies, Microchip, Deworm and vet check.
