We are now open both Saturday & Sunday! Saturday's from noon-5pm & Sunday's from noon-4pm.
Pretty Matilda arrived into our care from Wichita with her kittens, where they were all at risk for euthanasia. She did a great job raising her kittens and is ready now to be the star in her own forever home! Matilda is VERY sweet! She is also outgoing and playful and comes around quickly once she feels safe. In her foster home, she loves to look out the windows and is a big fan of the window perch ;-) ..she has met the resident cat and dogs in her foster home and does OK, although slow intros are super important with Matilda. She will be accepting of another cat, although one with a more laid back purrsonality is best, since Matilda tends to want to dominate. As regards a dog, she'd prefer one that ignores her :-) ..she can come to the adoption center by request but much prefers to be seen in her home environment so she can show off and be herself! A home visit can easily be arranged with an approved application ;-)
Matilda was born approximately November 16, 2013, and her adoption fee is $55. She is spayed, up to date on worming and vaccines including rabies, tested negative for feline leukemia and is entitled to a free well check from Mariposa Veterinary Wellness Center.
You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens Saturday's from 12pm-5pm or Sunday's from 12pm-4pm at our adoption center which is located at 12800 Santa Fe Trail Drive in Lenexa, Kansas, 66215. All our kitties are socialized and live in licensed foster homes during the week, and most come to the adoption center on the weekends. However, not every kitty attends every weekend.
