My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fish here! I was originally rescued by the MSPCA from a hoarding situation. Several shelters and rescues worked together to get places for us all to go where we would receive the extra care, time and attention we would need to succeed and eventually find families of our own. I'm a quiet fellow who likes to enjoy the finer things in life like sunny windowsills, climbing up a cat tower, and playing with toys. Remember I was rescued from a hoarding situation so while I have lived with people I didn't always get all the care and attention I needed so it can take me longer to get used to new situations, places and people. The folks here have slowly taught me that humans are my friends and now I am ready to find a family of my own. Due to my shyer nature I am looking for a home with older children or adults and one with cat experience who will keep working with me to help me socialize. Think you have the space in your home and heart to welcome a sweet shy boy like me? Then come down and visit with me today!
Before making the trip to visit the shelter we strongly recommend checking our website for information on adoption policies and procedures. Please understand that because we are a busy place and because so many animals need our care and attention, adoptions are on a first come basis and no animal will be put on hold. To inquire about a pet's availability or for more information, we encourage you to visit our shelter in person. Due to the high volume of interest, email and phone inquiries may not be returned on a daily basis. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to your visit! www.capeannanimalaid.org, 978-283-6055 ex 10 for reception desk.
