Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Are you lonely? No children or grandchildren to spoil? Looking for something to fill that empty space in your heart? Maybe Juliet is what you need! Juliet is between 2-3 years old and is a card carrying member of the Extended Stay Club. This lady has been looking for her perfect match since December of 2015. Her people search has taken longer than most because she does not get along with children and gets stressed out when people and dogs walk by her kennel so tends to make a less than perfect impression when visitors come to the shelter. Visitors seldom get to see the sweet and lovable side of Juliet because it takes her a few visits and not just a brief encounter for her to put trust in you. If you are willing and interested in visiting Juliet several times you might be lucky enough to earn her trust and affection. Juliet does well with some dogs but she would be best suited as an only dog. She has to go to a home with no children and one that if children happen to visit her new family understands that Juliet should be given a separate room or her kennel until the visit is over. Juliet is a huge fan of water and loves to swim and splash in the shallows during the hot days. When she first arrived she would get car sick but over time she has learned to enjoy car rides. If you are single or a couple with no children and are looking for a pet and willing to visit often to see if you might be the right ones, well maybe you can give a rescued gal with a jaded past a brighter future.
Before making the trip to visit the shelter we strongly recommend checking our website for information on adoption policies and procedures. Please understand that because we are a busy place and because so many animals need our care and attention, adoptions are on a first come basis and no animal will be put on hold. To inquire about a pet's availability or for more information, we encourage you to visit our shelter in person. Due to the high volume of interest, email and phone inquiries may not be returned on a daily basis. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to your visit! www.capeannanimalaid.org 978-283-6055 ex 10 for reception desk
