Tobie unexpectedly found himself at a local shelter when his original people moved and could not take him with them. He is about 4 years old and around 50 lbs. He is a sweet, gentle boy with people and loves all animals that are bigger than 20 lbs.
Tobie is not a big barker and would be a very easy dog for someone looking for their first dog or for just an easygoing companion. He is housebroken and is a gentleman who is never destructive. His manners are excellent.
He will walk on a leash, but requires an Easy Walk harness to reduce pulling and he is getting better. Tobie s reluctant to get into a car but, with persuasion, will go and is a good passenger once in the vehicle.
Tobie is somewhat skittish and would likely do best in a home with older children. He also is not a fan of cats or dogs smaller than 20 lbs, but he'd love a medium to large sized playmate. He could just as easily be an only dog as well.
Tobie's adoption fee is $175 and includes vaccinations, veterinary well visit, neuter and microchip.
