Gage is an awesome cat. He came to us a total wreck, full of fleas, ticks, and internal parasites. He had terrible teeth and was one big mat of fur. He has been with us for a year now and went from being a frightened hissing cat to being one who talks to you to get you to pet him! At some point in life he lost most of his tail, but it doesn't bother him. We call it his little bunny butt. He does sometimes swat at you if you stop petting him before he's done being petted. For that reason it is probably best that he not live with little children. He can still be shy with new people and will need time to acclimate to a new home. As we find with some of these adult male cats who were not neutered when young, Gage is FIV positive. Because he gets along so well with other cats he can be adopted safely into a home with FIV negative cats. As a matter of fact, he would LOVE to be with other cats. He would probably be quite lonely as an only kitty. He's a joy to have around, you will enjoy him!

If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful cats or kittens, you can apply on our website: http://www.commcat.org . Please allow several days for us to process your application. We are a small, all-volunteer group and we are doing our best to work quickly! After the application is processed we will make arrangements for you to meet the cats that interest you. All of our cats and kittens are raised in our homes and live with us until they are adopted. They live with us as part of our families so we know them very well and we can help you find your perfect cat! Cats are rarely caged (only if its medically necessary) so you can visit with them and see how they act in a home. Our adoption fees are $50 for adult cats, $85 for kittens under one year, and double the love with two adult cats for $85. All cats are spayed or neutered, dewormed, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, tested for FIV and FeLV (feline leukemia), and microchipped.

About Community Cat Inc

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a cat advocacy group dedicated to ending feline overpopulation in our area. Our purpose is to help owned and unowned cats in our area by facilitating high quality, high volume, low cost spay/neuter services; helping caregivers to find resources to keep and humanely care for their cats; and providing care to cats in need, especially those who may not find help elsewhere.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are completely foster home based and do not cage our cats unless medically necessary. Because we are foster home based, we require an approved application on file and will then make arrangements for you to meet that special cat or kitten!
