"Hey there people! It’s Carol Brady here. I have finally settled down enough to be able to tell you my side of the story of how I got here. Well, the parts I want to talk about that is. You see, my story isn’t as fairy tale like as that other Carol Brady from the TV show. There is no Mike Brady to help me raise my kittens or Alice the Housekeeper to keep me organized and clean…although foster mom does a pretty good job with that scooper.

No, my story is much like many other single mamas that end up in the shelter, except I was saved by the caring folks with Angels Among Us. Because of them, instead of watching my kittens get sick (or worse), I have watched them get fat and happy and adopted by loving families!

Right now I am staying with my foster parents and their two cats. My foster parents love me to death and I love them - I sit on my bed on foster dad's desk and keep him company when he does computer work, and I can't get enough pets from foster mom (she knows exactly where to scratch). When I'm not lounging around or putting in time on those naps, I'm playing with my foster brother and sister - we play tag and we even talk to each other from across the house.

Foster mom says I'm beautiful - white with patches of orange (I even have a raccoon tail, and even that's white and orange) and that she can't wait for me to find my forever family. I'm three years old and weigh about nine pounds (which apparently makes me petite) and would do great in a home with other cats, or with no cat at all because I keep myself company quite well. I'm just a really easy going bundle of fluff - again, says foster mom. But don't take her word for it, come find me."  ;)

About Our Rescue Group...

Angels Among Us Pet Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit volunteer-based organization dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats from high-kill shelters in Georgia. We operate through a network of foster homes in the metro Atlanta area.

Our efforts are funded by tax-deductible contributions from compassionate people and organizations who care and want to help make a difference... one pet at a time.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our animals are in our network of foster homes. We do not have a shelter. Please go to www.facebook.com/angelsrescue/events to see our schedule of adoption events, or email inquiry@angelsrescue.org if you are interested in a specific dog.

Our Adoption Process...

The first step in adopting or meeting any of our dogs is to fill out an adoption application on www.angelsrescue.org.
Your application will be assigned to someone in our organization that will review it and contact you to discuss it. Please allow us at least 3 business days to contact you. We require a meet and greet with your current dogs (if applicable) and all family members (if possible) and a home check. Please note: Puppies under 4 months are not currently available for adoption outside the state of Georgia.
