I am Cleopatra, and I really, really want to be adopted. I was a stray kitten and living a precarious existence until I was about 6 months old, when I became pregnant (!). A few months later, I was struggling to feed myself and four hungry babies. It was really challenging. One day, a rescuer trapped me and my tiny kittens. Being trapped was scary, but he brought us to our foster family. They gave us a comfortable home, nutritious food, toys, and--most importantly--lots and lots of love. They also have a veterinarian who makes house calls! I was a gentle, sweet mommy cat from day 1, but I was a bit unsure about cuddling with people. But, after a while, I saw that we were so loved that I decided to love back! Now that my kittens are adopted, I am very eager to be adopted myself. Although my foster parents love me and give me lots of attention, I really want to have my own family. I purr whenever I am petted and just to show that I am happy. I like to participate in whatever you are doing: reading, watching a video, napping, or "helping" you on the computer. When you return home, I come rushing over chirping with cheerful little greetings. In fact, I am the most chatty cat my foster parents have ever met! I am a young adult (a bit more than 1 year old) and play just like an excitable kitten. I am very gentle and never use my claws or teeth. I am an incredibly beautiful Torbie which means that I have the best of the tabby and tortoiseshell patterns! I have bright green eyes and a spotted, fluffy tummy. I use my litter box flawlessly and have no health issues. I am spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. When I arrive at your home, I will have a week's supply of my foods, my toys, and my medical records.
Prepare for a lot of love!

About The Kitten Whisperer

About Our Rescue Group...

We rescue kittens and cats and ensure that they end up leading the best of lives! Our kittens and cats know that they are loved! They are great with people!

Come Meet Our Pets...

We make quick --often same day-- appointments to have you meet the kittens in their foster home. You need to fill out an adoption application first:

Our Adoption Process...

We ask you to fill out an adoption application online at We can also email you the application or fill it with you during a telephone conversation. Once you've filled out the application, we can set up time for you to meet our kittens and cats, and we can usually find a time that same day or the next day. We require a signed adoption contract before you adopt, and we drop off all of our kittens and cats ourselves. We provide adopters with a week's supply of the food that the kittens or cats have been eating, their favorite toys, a cat care handbook, and a complete medical history including the neuter/spay certificate and proof of vaccinations. Our adoption fee is $50 for a cat and $75 for one kitten OR for two kittens. It's $75 for two kittens because it's better for kittens to be adopted in pairs, but we do not require that kittens are adopted in pairs.
