Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Barney is an adorable little guy. He is full grown at eight pounds and about two years old. Though Barney has the markings of a cattle dog, he weighs only six to eight pounds and is probably a Corgi/Dachshund/Chihuahua mix. Barney is initially a little shy with new people but soon warms up if you give him time. He bonds quickly with his main caregiver and will follow you from room to room!
Barney is good with other dogs and wants to be in a home with at least one other nice dog with whom to cuddle and hang out. Barney would like an enclosed yard in which to explore but it doesn't have to be large. He wants you and his doggie buddies to go out with him for short periods of time. He is Not a dog that can safely be left outside unsupervised due to his size where he could be taken by an owl or coyote.
Barney is gentle, affectionate and cuddly. Barney would be great with someone who is retired or who works from home as he doesn't like to away from his humans for long periods of time. He would be a great dog to take to work. He would curl under your desk on his blanket and nap quietly. He loves to go for walks and walks perfectly on a leash right at your side.
Barney needs someone to commit to him for life and he will be your very best, most loyal buddy. He is neutered, current on vaccinations and micro chipped.
