I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Peggy is a 2 year old tabico (tabby-calico) cat who came to us with her litter of kittens. Her babies are older now and no longer need her, so she is hoping to settle down with a family of her own soon enough. Peggy is the kind of cat who picks her "person" and is really loyal to that person. In her foster home, foster "dad" is that person and she sticks to him like glue. She may seem a little distant to other people, but to the person she bonds with the closest, she is a big love! She isn't easily scared, and likes to observe the household. She also likes to be petted, especially belly rubs! Peggy does just fine with other cats and even dogs, and although she is technically an adult kitty, she is prone to occasional bouts of playfulness! Interested in taking this beauty home with you? Wave Animal Rescue was created in September 2014. We are a small but growing home based foster group of dedicated volunteers.
All Wave animals are spayed or neutered and up to date on tests and vaccinations prior to adoption. Aside from these usual veterinary costs, we also incur vet bills for special needs animals such as Frosty, the little kitten who came to us blind, pregnant moms such as Lady Jane and their litters and other needs that occur.
We are always looking to add to our volunteers, whether it be new fosters, volunteers to help with adoption events, fundraising and administrative help. Donations of crates, blankets, cat food (canned and dry), cat toys, cat litter or cash are always greatly appreciated. If you would like your donation to go towards the care/vet bill of a specific cat, we will make that happen.

Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption process starts with our adoption application which can be filled out here: http://www.waveanimalrescue.org/adopt.html.
Once the potential adopter's application is received and approved, it will be forwarded to the foster parent of the cat/kitten that the adopter is inquiring about. The adopter will be contacted within three business days regarding the status of their application and/or to set up a meet and greet.
If the meet and greet goes well and the adoption is approved the adopter will need to agree to and sign our adoption contract, sign a disclosure form, and pay our $125.00 adoption fee. The adopter will also receive a copy of the vet records of the adopted cat.
Thank You! Your message has been sent to Wave Animal Rescue.
You'll receive a copy, too, at
to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter!
Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
