My name is Angelus!!! I spent the first few months of my life tied up outside, and I eventually broke free. Well, animal control found me wandering around and they took me to a high kill shelter. The "people" who tied me out made my noose too tight; so, now I carry a faint around my neck as a reminder I will never be tied outside again. And I wear my scar proudly, because it shows that I was very brave! I was one of the lucky ones - one of the pit bulls that actually made it out of the kill shelter and into rescue. I'm now two years old and I am ready for a forever home! Here's a little info you should know about me: I'm a very smart boy. Don't let my fat head deceive you! I have brains in there! I know how to sit, lay down, shake BOTH hands, high five, and I sort of know how to fetch. I like to run after toys when you throw them, but I don't quite get the whole & bring it back part. And I am so smart, I know I can learn a lot more tricks! Of course I already know the basics, like house training (I learned all about appropriate bathroom habits when I was a young pup) and I am crate trained too. I love my crate and I love to sleep in it. I also love to sleep on beds, couches, the floor, whatever - I'm easy like that! I'm not a crazy hyper dog. I have my moments of wanting to run and play, but most of the time, I'm a big 'ole couch potato. I am quite particular about the company I keep, and I would prefer to be the only dog in your home. I'm good with a few short walks during the day and some play time with my toys. See, I'm easy! If you think I sound like a cool dude and if you wanna meet me, please fill out an application and we can set that up!
