Winnie's Story...
Winnie is a sweet senior spaniel mix approximately 10 yrs old. She is very loving and affectionate and wants nothing more than to be with her human companion as much as possible. She nudges your hand for attention and has quite the spunky personality. Winnie has some back issues that occasionally cause her to have a bit of trouble walking but she now has a stylin' cart (for her back legs) and gets around on her own just fine! Winnie is looking for a home of her own to live out her golden years and in return you will be showered with love!

An adoption fee of $250 includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, flea and heartworm preventatives if appropriate, and all medical costs while in our care.

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please visit our website and fill out an application online at www.familyadditiondogrescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Winnie, a Charlotte Cocker Spaniel/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel/Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel/Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel/Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
