Meet Macy! Her DNA test results tell us she is a designer dog, half Laborador Retriever and half American Staffordshire Terrier, but best of all, our experience with her tell us she is a real sweetheart. Macy is playful and energetic and would love a home with another dog to be her playmate. She is a bit timid with her human companions initially but warms up quickly and she can hardly wait to meet you!

An adoption fee of $250 includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, flea and heartworm preventatives if appropriate, and all medical costs while in our care.

About Family Addition Dog Rescue of Charlotte

About Our Rescue Group...

Family Addition Dog Rescue of Charlotte is a small group of like-minded individuals who dedicate their homes and their hearts to providing refuge to the many abandoned, abused and neglected dogs of our community. We believe a dog is a member of the family and we require 100% committed owners for our adoptions. Each dog is fully vetted, altered, fed high quality nutrition and started on monthly heartworm preventative. A foster home is provided to fully assess the behavior and placement needs of each individual dog. Permanent homes are carefully screened to ensure the dog is matched correctly. Public awareness of our overpopulation problem is another focus of Family Addition. At our all of our adoption events we ensure each citizen is educated on the plight of homeless animals in our area and the proper care of any companion animal. With re-homing shelter dogs and educating the public we strive to make a difference in our community.
