Ginger's Story...
Hi, my name is GINGER and I am a one year old SLENDER and PETITE female kitty. As you’ve probably noticed from my photos, my markings are UNIQUE and folks that have met me say that I’m as CUTE as can be! Here are some facts about me: I love to CUDDLE and I will crawl on top of you to get a good SNUGGLE. I adore being TOUCHED and I will RUB my face all over you so that you PET me and give me lots of ATTENTION. I also love to PLAY with toys and I will toss my toy, catch it and carry it around in my mouth. But my favorite past time is catching FLIES. I’m a pro at it! I can be a bit territorial so I would probably do best in a home where I could be your ONE AND ONLY. That way I don’t have to share your affection. I am spayed, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative.

To meet me, fill out the CAT ADOPTION APPLICATION at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginger, a Long Beach Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
