Kaegen's Story...
Kaegen is a handsome red cat, and as his Irish name implies- he's a fiery thinker! He is a bit shy of loud noises and rambunctious children but would thrive in a quiet home where he doesn't have to hide! He loves to sit on the couch with you and is totally open to snuggling. He has no problem finding the litterbox so just keep it fresh! He seems to enjoy the company of other cats, as long as they like him. Kaegen wasn't overly accepting of dogs but he kind of views them the same as children. A quiet couch potato pooch would be an okay companion. Give this Irish gent a chance and you'll forever have luck!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kaegen, a Wichita Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wichita, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Wichita.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wichita already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wichita breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wichita paves the way for another one to be saved.
