BIO:
SIDNEY is a 10 year old, 8 lb gray dapple Dachshund who has recently moved with her human mom from Nevada to Portland. Unfortunately, their new landlord doesn't allow pets, so SIDNEY is in needs of a loving home to live out the rest of her forevers. According to her previous family, SIDNEY is healthy, housetrained, car trained and enjoys short walks. She is fearful of other dogs, so would probably do best in a home with a stay at home parent (retired/work from home) where she was the only child. Do you have room in your life for a sweet little Doxie in need of a new loving family, or know someone who does? SIDNEY is waiting.

ODR, INC. ADOPTION CRITERIA (aka Our Fine Print):
Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria. Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time? Have a securely fenced yard? We do not place same gender dogs in a home unless they were raised together, and children need to be 12 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie). We prefer non smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc) Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog. Remember these are rescues, many were surrendered because of these issues.
