Dahlia (super kid friendly)'s Story...
Dahlia is a beautiful black kitten with just a hint of grey dusting on the tips of her tummy fur. She is very playful! Dahlia was found in a cemetery, curled up inside a flower pot on top of a head stone. :( She has been in a foster home with small dogs and other cats, and does very well with small children. She would be great for a family and also great as an only cat. Give this black beauty a try!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dahlia (super kid friendly), a College Station Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in College Station, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in College Station.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in College Station already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a College Station breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in College Station paves the way for another one to be saved.
