Facts about Serena

  • Breed: Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua Mix
  • Color: Tan/Yellow/Fawn - With White
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Female
Serena is a 7-yr old 13 lb italian greyhound / chihuahua mix who we took from NKLA so that she would not have to go back to the shelter. Serena was found as a stray in South L.A. and was scared and extremely hungry.

She had visible bite marks on her body and it was believed that she was attacked as a stray. Serena is shy at first but once she gets to know you is extremely loving. She would do well in any home and with someone who enjoys hiking and long walks. She is not a super active pup but does enjoy running around the house and yard when she gets excited!

If you are interested in Serena, please complete the on -line application as she does not always attend the weekly adoption event on Saturdays at PETCO.
