Sammy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Sammy's Story...
Sammie is an absolute delight! Her current foster parents are very active and live in the country on 120 acres. She currently spends her days following her foster dad around the yard. She likes to accompany him to feed the chickens. She is curious of the pond and will likely do well in the water. She is friendly but shy, and will need time with her new family to get acclimated. Her current foster family adores her and we prefer to go to a new family that has a similar home. She is an active working dog and needs to be properly stimulated. If you are someone that tends to horses, cows, ducks, etc she is your buddy. She loved the run the property but comes when called. She currently lives with a 3 year old English Spring who keeps her busy and on her toes. She would do well in a home with a large yard or piece of land and it would be a HUGE plus if you already have a dog. She really bonded to her foster mom and it clear she craves that human company/affection. She comes UTD on vaccinations, was spayed last week and is micro-chipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sammy, a Columbia Heights Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog for sale in Columbia Heights, or seeking a Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Columbia Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog breeders who help with Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
