My wife and I rescued and fostered 2 dogs. We believe they are about 1-1/2 years old and we think they are brothers as they were found together. We have nursed them back to health, loved them, trained them with a professional trainer, neutered them and they have all shots and medical done. They are very healthy but we cannot keep them permanently. They appear to be pit bull/beagle mixes. They are kind, loving and loyal with us and our adult children. We couldn't ask for better pets. However, they do not like most other dogs or children. They have lived alongside our mature female cat. They are crate-trained and house trained and still sleep in their crates. They love routine! We are very sad to see them go but we live in a neighborhood with lots of small children and dogs and want them to go to a home that understands them. If necessary, they can be separated but we would prefer to keep them together as they are bonded and excellent companions!

Pit Bull Rescue Central envisions a compassionate world where pit bulls and pit bull mixes reside in responsible, loving homes and where their honor and positive image is restored and preserved.

Mission Statement:
As an organization, Pit Bull Rescue Central (PBRC) will:

Help relieve suffering of and prevent cruelty to dogs identified as pit bulls and mixes thereof, through the public dissemination of educational information.

Help reduce the number of homeless pit bulls and mixes thereof, through the public dissemination of educational information.
Facilitate the rescue and placement of homeless dogs identified primarily as pit bulls and mixes thereof, into responsible homes.
Participate in fundraising in order to provide caretakers of pit bulls and mixes thereof, with the means to:

- seek veterinary treatment
- spay or neuter
- provide food, shelter or other basic necessities
- assist a dog to prevent it from being treated in a cruel or inhumane fashion

Our Adoption Process...

We list for outside organizations and individuals who may not be able to list on their own or just want to give dogs additional exposure. We require - spay/neuter certificates - before dogs can be listed. We screen adopters when needed.

The actual adoption fees, requirements and decision will be made by the organization/individual who have the dog in their possession.
