Zoey is a beautiful 10 year old Lab mix that has been waiting to be adopted for way too long. Zoey came to the HSPC in February 2015 as an owner surrender and she would love nothing more than to have a family and home to call her own. Zoey is an affectionate girl and she is very devoted to her human friends. She loves to just sit next to you and be petted. While Zoey loves people, she does not get along well with other dogs, so it would be best if she could find a home where she is the only dog in the house.

Zoey is sponsored by her special friend, Nick McConnell. Thank you Nick for your generous donation in honor of Zoey!

About Humane Society of Pulaski County

About Our Shelter...

The mission of the Humane Society of Pulaski County is to rescue, care for and find homes for abandoned, abused, homeless and unwanted animals; to reduce suffering of animals; and to reduce the number of homeless animals through adoption, spay/neuter, and through education.

The Humane Society of Pulaski County provides access to low-cost, healthy, inoculated, sterilized animals to people seeking to adopt animals as pets only. Adopters are screened to see if they can provide the basics of care for the animals, proper housing, and continued veterinary maintenance; and have no history of animal abuse or irresponsible ownership.

The Humane Society is a private no-kill shelter, supported solely by donations, fund-raisers, bequests and grants. We receive no city, county or state funding, nor are we affiliated with any other organization. We have been rescuing animals since 1946, and have been in our present building since 2000.
