My story

Little Pepper is one of the sweetest dogs we have had come through our rescue. Pepper came from a terrible hoarding situation almost full term pregnant. She had her pups one week later, in a new scary environment (they had never set foot out of their "owner's" small house). She was the BEST mama. Through it all, she has never shown one bit of aggression and has learned that humans aren't so bad once you get to know them. She is still skittish and scared of new people but she has blossomed into a happy little dog that follows us around looking for attention (although she doesn't have much of a clue what to do with that attention when she gets it). After her puppies were adopted, we reunited her with another little female, Malia, from the same hoarding situation and they are stuck together like glue, each helping the other to overcome their fears. We believe Pepper to be Malia's mother. We would like to see them adopted together, if possible. Pepper has been spayed, vaccinated and chipped. We believer her to be 2 years old.
