Sheyenne’s plight started in July 2012 from her birth in a backyard.  She had little or no interaction with humans only other canines.  After a year the human residents got divorced, the husband took two of the dogs, but left Sheyenne and her mother behind.  The wife and kids were afraid of large dogs and had no contact with them.  Rescue was called to help, but the older dog had escaped and was never seen again.  Sheyenne was rescued and after much patience and love, Sheyenne became a sweet confident and calm companion. Sheyenne has a beautiful brindle coat, narrow head, brown eyes and a quiet spirit.  She can run like the wind and stop on a dime and would make a great running partner with her long stride.  Sheyenne is crate trained, spayed, UTD on shots, Heartworm negative and on preventative.  Sheyenne does well with other dogs, cats and also with kids. If you would like more info or interested in meeting Sheyenne, please contact deb923@bellsouth.net   Application and adoption fee required.

About A Wecome Home Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

A Welcome Home Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit created to help the homeless, hurt and/or abandoned animals. Our end goal is to place each animal in a permanent, loving home where all their needs will be met. We believe every animal deserves humane treatment. We believe in our role as caretakers, protecting those who cannot defend themselves, speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Because we are not a shelter, do not have a boarding facility, and are not connected with any other agency, we always welcome foster homes where animals can stay temporarily. We also welcome all tax-deductible donations from individuals or foundations.
No donation is too small.

Our Adoption Process...

To Do All We Can to Aid in the Rescue, Safety and Welfare of Stray and Abandoned Animals to end as much suffering as possible.

We realize we cannot save the world … but we can try by working with each rescued animal on an individual basis.
