My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Attie is a sweet, loving girl. She walks well on a leash and knows some commands. She was returned to us after being in a home for 3 years because she wasn't doing well with the child in the home as he grew up and became more mobile and curious. She does not appear to be good with kids at all so we are looking for an adult/grown kids home for Miss Attie. Attie is housetrained according to her prior family. She likes to play with dogs her own size. She does best without "high-value" treats such as yummy bones as she does guard them. She doesn't show that well at Petsmart in the crate but once you get her out and away from the noise and chaos and spend time with her she's super sweet! And she is great in the car!! If you are interested in adopting from Recycled Doggies, please complete an adoption application through our website: www.recycleddoggies.org. THAT IS THE FIRST STEP IN OUR PROCESS. Please do not just show up at an adoption event and expect to adopt a dog that day - we need time to review your application ahead of time, which is why we ask that you submit your application ahead of time so you don't miss out on the dog you are hoping to adopt while you wait for your application to be reviewed. Our adoption fee is $175. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, dewormed, heartworm tested (if over 9 months of age), and microchipped.
