My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there! I'm Dory. You can probably tell that I am some type of Chihuahua mix. My friends here think that I might have some Beagle in me, too. Who knows, though. It's just an educated guess.

I am about 2 years old and I weigh just 13 pounds. I'm a pretty petite little girl. Perfect size for a lap dog. And believe me, I am definitely a lap dog!

I have already been spayed and microchipped and I am up-to-date of my vaccines. I'm ready to go to my new home. All I need to do is pack my bags. Just give me the word and I'll go gather my things!

I just love making friends. It doesn't matter if you're human or canine, I don't discriminate! However, I have heard about these things called "cats." My friends have no idea whether I have been around any before, so it's unclear whether or not I could live with one. Maybe I would like them, too. I just don't know.

If asked to describe myself, I would say that I am sweet, loving, playful, and outgoing. I can't think of a single flaw I have. Which is why I am surprised that my previous owners surrendered me to a local high-kill shelter. Apparently, I was brought into the shelter as a stray and when the staff contacted my former owners to let them know that I was there, they said they no longer wanted me. Can you imagine hearing that? I thought we were family!

Anyway, I'm not going to let my past get in the way of my future. I've since pushed my disappointment aside and am now looking forward to a day when I have a family of my own who will care for me and love me unconditionally for the rest of my life. Could you be that family? If so, please don't hesitate to contact CageFree and tell them you just have to meet me. You will not be sorry. Trust me!
