Buddy's Story...
ONLY AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION IN NEW JERSEY
This fluff ball is Buddy. He is a 10 year old Maltese who weighs about 14lbs. This poor baby was was surrendered to a shelter because his owners didn't want to take care of his medical needs anymore. He is super sweet but prefers to come to you and sit next to you. He is not a huge fan of being picked up all the time. He will need to be in an adult only home but loves all dogs big and small. He loves to be brushed and cuddled and could spend all day in the sun if you let him. Since he is older he does spend more than half of his time napping in his favorite bed. Who wouldn't want to do that!?!?!? Buddy is house trained and wee wee pad trained but does require frequent trips outside as he has permanent damage from years of having a bladder stone. Can you give this special boy the perfect home? If so, please go to bestfriend.petfinder.com to fill out an application.

If interested in adopting Buddy, please email bestfrienddogadopt@gmail.com and include a contact number. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Cranford Maltese/Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Bichon Frise for sale in Cranford, or seeking a Maltese/Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Cranford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cranford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cranford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Bichon Frise breeders who help with Maltese/Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cranford paves the way for another one to be saved.
