Lexi's Story...
Sweet, shy and gentle little Lexi. She enjoys being held and babied but also like to explore the world on the end of your leash (as long as you're close by). She was surrendered by her owner who was moving. Her owner claims she is house trained (but we can't prove that in our shelter environment) and is fine with the company of other dogs and cats too.

Lexi weighs about 14 pounds and is around a year young.

Email Homelesspetsfoundation@gmail.com or call 770-971-0100 for more info. Or fill out an adoption application, found at www.homelesspets.com/adoption-form.

Adoption fees include spaying/neutering, micro-chipping, vaccinations up to date at the time of adoption, one free check-up at Town & Country main vet clinic within 14 days of adoption and a free session with Tenasity dog trainers!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lexi, a Marietta Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
