This dog is the sweetest girl in the world! She loves everybody and everything. She loves to play and snuggle. Her favorite activity during the day is sleeping especially on the sofa. Ruby came to us from a breeding kennel due to have pups soon. She successfully raised all five of her pups. They all found good homes and now Ruby would like a home of her own. She is about 8-9 years old and weighs about 15 pounds. Her adoption fee is $200.

About Maple Hill Farm Toy Breed Rescue LLC

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a very small group of dog lovers that are devoted to the well being of small breed dogs. We try to only bring in dogs under 15 pounds so they can be safely housed together. It is heartwarming to see a dog that has spent its entire life in a kennel learn how to play with toys, accept love from a human, and actually want to be touched.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Prospective adopters are welcome to come and meet the dogs once their application has been approved. This can take as long as two weeks since all of us are volunteers and work full time jobs as well. Since we are a home based group, we are bringing adopters into our homes to meet the dogs.

Our Adoption Process...

Our rescue is foster based so the dogs are in homes where they are learning to get along with other dogs and humans. We require a vet reference as well as two personal references with each application. Our funds to rescue and vet all dogs come from our adoption fees or our personal funds. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, have dentals, and heartworm checked before leaving the rescue. If they are too young or small to be safely neutered, they are adopted on a spay/neuter contract.
