Scout's Story...
Scout is an English Cocker around age 6, he’s neutered, chipped, fully vaccinated, heartworm free, potty trained, good with dogs, cats and people. This sweet boy is by far one of the nicest, well-behaved angels we’ve taken in.
Scout and his sister were owner surrenders to a high kill shelter; his sister was adopted leaving Scout behind so we made him one of our angels; he's an incredible dog. Scout experienced two seizure while in our care and takes medication and will need to the rest of his life. We are so pleased he is perfectly healthy and the seizures he's had have have been minor . I cannot say enough good about our handsome boy, we adore him.
Scout needs are a secure back yard and a loving home, he loves to play ball and snuggle. He's truley he’s an amazing angel.

We do not do out of state adoptions and there’s an adoption process everyone goes through. If you’re interested please submit an application to be considered. For questions call Donna at 760/831-6166 between 9am-5pm, if there's no answer please be sure to leave a message and we will call you back.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scout, a Rancho Mirage Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Rancho Mirage, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Rancho Mirage.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rancho Mirage already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rancho Mirage breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rancho Mirage paves the way for another one to be saved.
