Zucca's Story...
Please visit our main website at for most recent list of available Boxers and to fill out an adoption application. Due to the volume of inquiries our volunteers receive we are unable to reply to inquiries without a completed adoption application.

Zucca was adopted as a very young girl from BRLA 9 months ago. Her adopted family love her but feel she would do better in a home that can devote more time and traiing. Zucca would love an experienced owner that can help her gain confidence and develope social ease. She currently is very anxious around other dogs in the outside world. She is wonderful at home, totally housebroken and lives with a young child. Zucca is super energetic and really has no outlet for all her Boxer energy. Let's get this beauty into an experience home that can work her into perfection.

Zucca is not at BRLA so please ask for her in advance to set up a meeting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zucca, a Encino Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Encino, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
