My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bunny will be at adoption event this Sunday at Petco in Southington from 11-3pm. Come down and meet her
Let's hop on the world and take a ride. I'll meet you on the other side. There are so many people in the world, it's true. But there's no one quite like you. - from 'Hop On The World' by Bob Schneider
We know a Bunny who would love to hop on into your heart and home. Bunny isn't actually a bunny though. Bunny is a one to two year old black and white Heeler mix weighing 40 lbs. She is described as quite the affectionate love bug by her foster family. Her sunny 'bunny' side shows up at play time as she runs and hops and makes some really quick smooth turns all in a few minutes of fun times with her foster siblings. he is great with other dogs, kids, big people, and seems to be afraid of cats unless they are running from her (then the chase is on). Foster mom says she just wants to chase not do harm but we recommend dog savvy cats if cats are in the home. Bunny is already house trained and lets herself out by way of a dog door. She does like to chew on random items left around the floor (not furniture though) so it would be best to keep things picked up until she has learned toy/item boundaries. She is crate trained and foster mom has used this a training tool as Bunny learns how to be a perfect young lady (she's almost there!). This gorgeous little girl is doing well with her leash training. She pulls once in awhile but is easily corrected. She would love to run after squirrels if given the opportunity so keep a tight hold when going into a 'squirrelly' society. Bunny loves to cuddle up with her people and will sleep with them if invited (or not). She does 'get it' when she is moved off the bed but the temptation is always just around the corner so we really hope you want a foot warmer. Bunny is already spayed, micro chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and current on preventatives. She has learned a lot in just a few short weeks about being a well loved family girl and she is willing to learn even more. Our precious girl is hoping to find her perfect forever home with a great family he can hop on top of the world. there rely are a lot of people in this world, it's true. But Bunny thinks there's no one in it quite like....you!
