Emma's Story...
Emma is a gorgeous black lab, she is the quiet one, she lets her sister do all the talking. She loves to play, give kisses and cuddle. She likes to investigate, running around the yard to smell all the plants. She sleeps with her sister in their crate, when not in the crate, they usually sleep touching each other. They are a very bonded pair. Adele and Emma are ready to start their search for their forever home but still need their spays. They will be available to adopt in 3 weeks after their spay. Please call their foster mom now if you’re interested in these sweet, fun-loving girls!

If you are interested in this dog, please fill out an application at www.DLRRphoenix.org. Someone will call to schedule a home visit so you can become an approved adopter. Also, visit our wonderful Facebook page at www.facebook/desertlab. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emma, a Phoenix Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
