Jenny is a sweetheart, so soft and friendly. She always likes to see what we are up to, and when other kitties have gotten bored and wandered off, Jenny is still there to keep us company. Jenny is such a good girl she gets to go outside to roam a bit, and there is nothing she would love more than to be the pet of a gardener! Company and fresh air, then a nice nap on the sofa would be her nirvana. Jenny comes when called and is gentle, so she would be safe with a child. She likes to play still and is under 2 years old, so still full of life. We just keep hoping she gets her forever home soon, but we will miss this super girl when she goes. Jenny is fine with other cats and would probable be good with a calm dog too.

About For The Cats' Sake

About Our Rescue Group...

For The Cats' Sake was founded in 2014 in response to a need for TNR in Rappahannock County, Virginia. Since that time, we have encountered many situations where there is no place for the cats to be returned. In other instances the cats are friendly or there are momma cats too pregnant to be spayed, or young kittens that are adoptable, but need socialization and foster care. Currently we have about 40 cats and kittens in foster care being prepared for adoption. All felines are Up to Date on vaccinations and tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV. Depending on age at time of adoption, they are also Spayed/Neutered.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our foster homes are in Flint Hill and Culpeper VA.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process begins with an application which includes vet references and landlord permission for renters. Potential adopters are encouraged to visit the cats/kittens in their foster homes so they see them in a comfortable situation. In many instances a volunteer will deliver the cat/kitten to their new home to assist the family in preparing their home getting the adoption off to a good start. There are no set fees, we request a donation.
