When Buckeye's family could no longer care for him MARS said 'Send that sweet mature boy to us ! ' So now here he is, patiently waiting for a forever family to call his own.
Buckeye gets along with other dogs but since he loves to snuggle and always be near his person, he thinks a home where he doesn't have to share attention would be just fine also. He's young for his age and enjoys a nice long walk and regularly goes a mile or two with his foster mom. He dances at the door to let you know he needs to go outside and he's pretty quiet inside unless he can see something exciting through the window he wants to tell you about. He's good home alone without a crate if he's got an assortment of toys to amuse himself with while he waits for you to get home.
