Beanie's Story...
We can't imagine how little Beanie had become a lost and lonely stray back in December 2015, but the poor guy was found cold and alone and has been waiting ever since to go to a great home. This 8 1/2 year old chihuahua is a quiet kind of guy that doesn't show much interest in you when you first meet him but if you know chihuahua's, you'll understand that he just has a little chihuahua-tude. Beanie is a little indifferent at first but once he gets to know you and bond with you, he'll just love you. He can be very affectionate and loving once he has made a good friend and he would be happy to be a little lap dog if you just give him the time and patience that he needs to be able to connect with you and trust you. Beanie is very well behaved and walks perfectly on a leash. He has luxating patellas which is common for his breed and nothing that a little exercise and supplements can't keep under control. Beanie is just fine with other dogs his size but will need a home with no children under 12. Beanie is ready to meet that special someone that will give him the happy life that he deserves. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beanie, a Forked River Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
