Facts about Peanut

  • Breed: Chihuahua
  • Color: White - With Black
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Male
Peanut was taken in by Valley Dogs Rescue when his family moved into an apartment and could not take him. He is a shy boy at first but warms up very quickly. He has a great personality and the cutest facial expressions. He loves to cuddle and to be petted and sit in your lap. His favorite thing is to lay his head on your leg and look up at you with his big eyes as if he is waiting for you to tell him about your day.

If you want a snuggler and a great listener, he’s your guy.

Peanut is housebroken and knows how to use a doggy door. He is curious about cats, but won’t get too close to them.

Wouldn’t you like to meet this pup?? If so, please complete an adoption interest form and email

About Valley Dogs

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a pending non-profit, no-kill rescue organization dedicated to rescuing and rehoming adoptable cats and dogs. We have over 40 years of combined rescue experience and knowledge.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have a kennel / shelter type of facility. We believe the most effective and successful way to match families and pets is to foster them in our own homes. Ultimately fostering our rescue animals in homes rather than a kennel environment allows us to give you complete information on the pet's behavior and how well he / she will fit with your family and lifestyle.

Our Adoption Process...

At Valley Dogs we make every effort to place the right animal in the right home. To aid in this goal, we use trained Adoption Consultants to help you select the best match for your lifestyle. You will meet with an Adoption Consultant and discuss your lifestyle, activity level, expectations, likes/dislikes, and past experiences with animals. Your consultant will then recommend the best match for your family and your lifestyle.
