Introducing June ….She is a friendly 90 pound American bulldog mix who just wants love and belly rubs. She enjoys naps and hanging out with people…and while she enjoys attention she is not needy about it. She gets along well with other dogs…and although she sometimes forgets how big she is when playing with smaller dogs she responds to their protests.
She does well on a leash with a few gentle reminders not to pull. She is pretty low energy, will chase a ball a few times but prefers chew toys…although finding ones that she won’t chew up in a few minutes is a challenge. Not much of a talker we’ve only heard her bark a few times and most of those where instigated by our dogs. She’s pretty non-reactive in general. She knows most of the basic commands (although we are still working on “drop it”) and has responded well to food reward/praise training so far. She is crate trained as well. As a bully she does tend to overheat quickly so a home with A/C is a must.
