Asia was living with a very kind woman who was wheelchair-and-homebound. She adored Asia and loved her like a child. Asia returned that love by being a super companion dog, cuddling with her owner, sleeping in her bed and bringing her joy every day. Sadly, a few months ago, her owner developed leukemia. Her only concern was to get Asia placed in a new home before she died. Sadly, that didn't happen. Asia is now living in our rescue kennel, confused, frightened and grieving for her owner. She needs a new home where she can once again love someone to pieces.
Asia is a 9-year-old Cattle Dog mix who is super friendly to everyone….men, women and older children (children should be considerate). She is so happy to be with people and rolls joyfully on her back, loving every belly rub that comes her way.
According to her previous owner, she needs to be the only pet in the house. She is house trained, has nice manners and is ready to be spoiled once again.
Asia would make a good family dog and we’d love to see her back in a home soon! If you’d like to meet her, please fill out an application at www.ehrdogs.org and be sure to mention her name…..ASIA!!!
