Meet Papa Pia, former mate to Mama Mia; he too is looking forward to learning about the good life on the other side of a breeder’s gate. He was neglected and locked outside in a small fenced enclosure with very little human interaction for the first years of his life. Now he is thriving and is a super smart dog, a lover who has quickly learned that his winning personality can be well rewarded with lots of love, a good home that will allow him to be indoors, and proper meals. He needs to gain weight because he was malnourished; when he reaches his proper healthy weight he should be approximately 140 pounds. He is good with other dogs, crate and doggy door trained. He enjoys walks to check out new sights, sounds, and smells, walks well on a leash but some times new things scare him and he needs a little extra reassurance that everything will be okay. He would do well in a house with a companion and plenty of love to share.
