Skipper's Story...
ADOPTION PENDING! Skipper is a one and a half year old aussie mix with a heart of gold. Skipper is good with other dogs, cats, and children. Skipper had never been on a leash either and will need some work, but this guy wants to please so much and he really tries hard. He is quiet at night and GREATLY enjoys the company of his people and the comfort of a warm house and soft bed at night. He came to us when a concerned neighbor asked us to take him. He had never been in a house, car or to the vet. He kept roaming the neighborhood looking for food, water and attention and boy is he happy now! Skipper's adoption fee is $300 plus MN tax to an approved applicant.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skipper, a Minneapolis Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
