CECE is a beautiful medium-haired female Seal Point Siamese with gorgeous blue eyes set in an exotically dark mask. She is totally a people kitty and comes with about 12 years of life experience. CeCe was surrendered when she was put outdoors after her owners divorced. When it got cold, she sought shelter in the neighbors' garage. The neighbors took her in from the cold and quickly discovered that CeCe is deaf, so she will need a person or family who is sensitive to that. Because she is deaf, she should be indoors only, and having gotten a taste of indoor life, that is what she would prefer. CeCe loves attention and will pet herself if you just put out your hand. She is looking for a nice warm person to curl up near and hang out with, and also likes to play some, especially with her toy mousie. CeCe would prefer to be the only cat, but with a patient introduction, she might tolerate another senior cat. It's unknown how she would do with a dog. CeCe would do best with adults or quiet older children. Any other cat, dog, or person will need to be respectful of her deafness, being careful not to startle her. This sweet old lady needs someone willing to deal with her health issues as a senior cat, and who will provide her with a quiet home to live out her golden years. She is sure to reward you with many purrs and much love! CeCe is being offered on a senior cat special of $20 (our normal fee is $60 which is strictly to help cover our costs), sponsored by Main St Mini Storage. She has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (she is negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed – plus you get a free vet visit. CeCe is currently in foster care. About West Coast Dog and Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Our mission is to provide care and find loving homes for companion animals of our community, with a focus on those with special needs. Currently we only work with Cats. We offer temporary housing in foster homes until they can be placed through our adoption process. We have adoption centers within both Petsmarts in Eugene, at Chad Drive, near Costco, and 29th and Willamette; PetCo by Valley River Center and Wags Emporium on Coburg Rd. WCDC works with humane societies, other animal rescue groups, the public and government animal services agencies to offer them relief from their overpopulation problem. All cats in our custody receive the medical care they need. WCDC is a non-profit organization. All money raised is used to help WCDC save as many animal lives as possible.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our cats can be seen at Petsmart on Chad Drive and on Willamette St, at Petco near Valley River Center and Wags Emporium on Coburg Rd, seven days a week during normal business hours. We do have adoption counselors available on weekends or by appointment or from 11-4pm Sat.-Sun.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters are required to complete our application and contract. Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. These documents are available through e-mail or at our adoption events. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the dog or cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet.
All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, De-wormed, treated with flea medication, spayed or neutered, and cats are felv/fiv tested.
