My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dakota is a beautiful, 2 yr old Brittany mix female. Her owner made the decision to relinquish her to rescue due to a change in her living situation.

Dakota's "Mom" worked from home so she is pretty used to always having someone at home, so I'm not sure how she would do being left alone for 8-9 working hours. She hasn't had a lot of interaction with other people. Thus, she is unsure of strangers until she gets to know you. But once she knows you, she is trusting and friendly. We are planning to work on this issue with her by taking her out in public a bit more.

Dakota is good with other dogs; not good with cats or tortoises, She is house trained and good in a wire kennel. Dakota's vaccines are up to date, she is spay and tested negative for heartworm, tick and lyme diseases.

Dakota's adoption donation is $325 which includes a microchip. Adoption donations help our rescue feed and provide medical care to the other dogs in our rescue that may not be as lucky to find adoptive homes.
