My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bear Bear is a French Bulldog mix that is the perfect size and weighs 38 lbs. Bear Bear has the BEST personality - she's a calm, sweet, quiet little girl that is very well behaved and has impeccable manners in the house. For instance, she doesn't jump on people, doesn't chew things up and only uses the toilet outside. She is very eager to please and picks things up very quickly. Bear Bear enjoys romping in the yard with her foster siblings but also plays well by herself. She loves to army crawl and be funny & act silly! Bear Bear is very sweet and quiet natured and can be a bit timid at first but warms up quickly and enjoys getting loved on by new people. She is also likes cats, as she lived with them in the past. This sweet pup is very loyal and will be the perfect addition to a family that wants a baby to love and spoil! She is just an all-around amazing dog, that deserves a fabulous home! Bear Bear is currently being fostered in Tennessee. Feel free to contact her foster mom, Alecia Clark @ 901-486-2850 (via text or call), if you have any questions. I will be posting a video of her soon to show off her adorable personality! Once adopted she will travel to her new forever home via transport. The adoption fee of $460.00 includes her vaccinations, spay, microchip, current heartworm prevention and transport fee to her new forever home. For an adoption application please visit Bluescityanimalrescue.net and email it to Baversa1@gmail.com

PLEASE REMEMBER TO CALL AHEAD AND GIVE YOUR VET PERMISSION TO SPEAK WITH US!

All of our pets start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted at which time they travel via transport to their new forever home. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters.
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
